How to Delete Your Account
Follow the steps below to request deletion of your Anshuk account and all associated data.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Anshuk app
Launch the Anshuk app on your iOS or Android device and make sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings
Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar (gear icon), or access it through your profile.
Scroll to the Account section
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen until you see the Account section.
Tap "Delete Account"
Tap the red Delete Account row. A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to verify your identity.
Enter your password and confirm
Type your current account password and tap Delete Account in the dialog. Your account is immediately placed in the 30-day deletion queue and you are signed out.
30-day grace period
You have 30 days to cancel
Log back in any time within 30 days and tap Cancel Deletion in Settings to fully restore your account and data.
Account is locked during the grace period
You are signed out immediately. No new sessions, messages, or data can be added to the account while it is queued for deletion.
Permanent after 30 days
Once the grace period expires, all your data is permanently and irreversibly erased from our servers.
What gets deleted
Note for couple accounts: Deleting your account only affects your data. Your partner's account remains fully active. Any shared session content will be anonymised on their end.

If you can't sign in to delete your account via the app, email us at support@anshuk.app from your registered address and we'll process the deletion manually within 5 business days.
